(NewMediaWire) – September 01, 2020 – PORTLAND, Ore. – Regence health plans have hired Brent Hess as its director of Medicare sales, effective August 3. In this role, Hess leads a team of sales professionals dedicated to business development for prospective Medicare customers and employer retiree groups. This includes supporting prospects and brokers as they work together throughout the year to find Medicare solutions that best suit their needs.

Hess was drawn to Regence’s focus on meeting Medicare consumers on their health care journeys by offering a wide range of plan options to meet diverse health care needs and budgets. He looks forward to applying his industry experience and perspective to help Regence build on its health plan offerings and differentiate in the marketplace.

Prior to joining Regence, Hess served as director of government sales for a large health care system in Utah, Idaho and Nevada, managing product strategy and distribution. He also previously served as a regional sales manager with a national carrier, covering the Utah, Idaho and Nevada markets. In his new role, Hess reports to Dara Smith, who oversees Regence’s Medicare product and sales.
Hess earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in HR Management from California State University of Fullerton. He also completed his MBA at Western Governors University.
