SUNSHINE BIOPHARMA ANNOUNCES SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAM cover

Montreal, Canada –(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) –Sunshine Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ: “SBFM”),a pharmaceutical company offering and researching life-saving medicines in a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology and antivirals today announced its board of directors has authorized a share repurchase program to acquire up to $2 million of the Company’s common stock.

The Company may purchase common stock on the open market, through privately negotiated transactions, or otherwise, in compliance with the rules of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and other applicable legal requirements. As of September 30, 2022, the Company had approximately $40.5million of cashand cash equivalents. The Company had approximately 22.6 million shares of common stock issued and outstanding as of November 7, 2022.

The timing, numberof shares repurchased and prices paid for the repurchased sharesunder this program will be at the discretion of management and will depend on market conditions as well as regulatory limitations, including blackout period restrictions. The repurchase program does not obligate the Company to acquire any particular amount of shares, and the repurchase program may be suspended or discontinued at any time at the Company’s discretion.
