BIO helps the U.S. Trade Representative’s (USTR) negotiations with the Government of Japan as a possibility to develop U.S. exports and create U.S. jobs. We would strongly urge the U.S. authorities to construct on the latest U.S.-Mexico-Canada settlement and that the settlement comprehensively addresses the biotechnology sector as an engine for progress for each economies, and particularly to make sure that Japanese health system promotes reasonably than hinders innovation and entry to new medicines.
