(NewMediaWire) – September 01, 2021 – Burbank, CA – Country music celebrity and former host of the “Barndance show,” Ronnie Mack, will be performing a Livestream broadcast reunion concert this Sept. 12, 2021, to benefit the charity organization, the Martial Arts History Museum.

Hosted by Stellar Tickets, all funds received for the live broadcast will help the Martial Arts History Museum, which was ordered closed for over a year, to re-open this month. “This has been the worst year in history, and for any business being able to survive is a miracle. I thank Ronnie Mack and his group for this benefit concert,” says museum president Michael Matsuda.

Ronnie Mack was one of the most celebrated country singers of his generation. He performed with several legendary country music groups, including the vocal group the Jordanaires. He also has appeared on stage with some of the biggest country stars, including Fats Domino, Ricky Nelson, and the Coasters, and was the opening act and backup musician for Mary Wells, Brenton Wood, the Platters, the Drifters, Shirelles, the Penguins, Rosie of Rose and the Originals.

Mack is a singer/songwriter and wrote and recorded many country hits, including “You Make Me Wanna Rock” and “I Wanna Dance With You.” With a career that spans more than five decades, Mack has played with a number of country greats, including Yoakam, Ray Campi, Rosie Flores, Buck Owens, James Intveld, Cliffie Stone, Marty Stuart, and D.J. Fontana, to name a few.

Ronnie Mack toured across Europe and was regularly featured at the world-renowned Club Palomino. He spearheaded a number of tributes to Ricky Nelson, Hank Williams, Buddy Holly, Patsy Cline, and Carl Perkins. “I believe in what the Martial Arts History Museum is doing for the community, and I’m proud to be a part of it,” adds Ronnie Mack.

However, Ronnie Mack was most well-known for his weekly country music show called “Ronnie Mack’s Barndance.” For over 25 years, Mack served as the host of one of the biggest venues for the country music community, and the show became the backbone of the Los Angeles country scene.

The Barndance show, which was aired live on KCSN radio, featured several key figures in the music world, including Connie Smith, Robert Reynolds, Bruce Springsteen, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, and Bob Woodruff. As the Johnny Carson Show did for the comedic community, the Barn Dance became the right of passage for the country music community.

Mack was twice inducted into the California Country Music Association as “Entertainer of the Year” and “Male Vocalist of the Year.”

The museum benefit concert will be aired on Sept. 12 at 4 pm. Tickets are $20. This will be a one-time-only airing. To purchase your tickets, visit:
