LOS ANGELES, CA – (NewMediaWire) – September 06, 2022 – US Sumo Champion Dan Kalbfleisch and Filipino martial arts weapons expert Nick Papadakis are joining forces to bring two exciting martial arts tournaments to the Mr. America All American Sports Festival. Mr. America is famous for being the longest running bodybuilding contest in the world. In addition to bodybuilding, this fitness expo hosts other strength sports, such as powerlifting and strongman; and now the combat sports of sumo and stick fighting.
Sumo Dan’s All-American Sumo Classic will feature 16 of the top American sumo wrestlers, of all shapes and sizes, competing in this ancient Japanese art. The goal of sumo is simple; drive your opponent out of the ring or force them onto the ground. Come watch these powerful athletes smash, bash, and crash their way to victory.
K.I.L.’s Full Contact Stick Fighting Championship will highlight the skill and precision needed to fight with a weapon. Competitors will wear the minimal amount of protective gear while fighting at the most extreme levels. Bouts will only end in a knock out or tap out.
The Mr. America All American Sports Festival will be held on Saturday, October 8th and Sunday, October 9th at The Tropicana Boardwalk Resort in Atlantic City, NJ. The sumo tournament will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00 AM. The stick fighting tournament will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 2:00 PM.
